tests because he was an experienced observer and simply did not like Barlows!
Never used them. Couldn't find one that met his critical observing
needs.

"He has never seen details on the moon with such high contrast. For
example, he was able to see details far away from the terminator for the
first time in his life. On the large plains he was able to detect very
subtle shading differences. He states performance is simply awesome.

have an astronomy oriented radio show in South Africa and after relating his
